Mosel Fine Wines/ Jean Fisch and David Rayer:
The 2022er Rothenberg Nackenheim GG, as it is referred to on the front label, offers a superbly complex and finely reductive nose of wet slate, wild herbs, verbena, candied grapefruit, lime tree, mustard seed, and fine spices. The wine is superbly playful on the comparatively light-weighted yet elegant and refined palate. There is a beautiful spicy core running through the palate and giving a great freshness to the whole balance. The finish is precise, pure, and vibrating. This is a remarkable, focused, and intense expression of dry Riesling in the making!
