The imposing structure and stature of this youthful Rheingau pinot noir leave no doubt that it’s been crafted for long-term aging. With plenty of aeration, the forestberry and cassis fruit emerges from behind the toasty oak, slowly pushing it into the background. Stunning concentration and structure, with mineral acidity that gives this wonderful lightness and energy at the very long finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2024.”
